Stanlaw Abbey Development Trust (SADT) is registered with the charity commission whose purpose is to improve the economic well-being and prosperity of residents in and around Ellesmere Port.

Our primary asset is Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre, based on Dover Drive in Ellesmere Port. Our aim is to provide affordable office and unit space for primarily new start up businesses. Offices and units are available on short-term licence agreements, offering businesses a flexible low risk option.

Profits generated from the Business Centre are distributed within the local community of Ellesmere Port.  This is done through supporting front line organisations who provide vital services to those in need. 

Each year, Stanlaw Abbey organise a Christmas Toy Appeal to support vulnerable and low-income families within Ellesmere Port. Working with family intervention workers, social workers, disability team, schools and women’s refuge, our appeal is provided with a list of families who need help to ensure that their children receive a gift at Christmas. Children of all ages, up to 18 years-old are included in this appeal.
